Principal Engineer - Chennai/ PuneREFID296853The Time & Absence domain specialist is responsible for consulting with our architect, product owner, and the center of excellence team members to implement effective, scalable solutions for stakeholder requests supporting business initiatives and global process changes.Responsibilities:

• Analyzing, defining, and documenting complex business requirements and processes
• Leads design and review existing or new functionality/configuration with business resources, Workday architect, and product owner.
• Manages multiple, parallel projects/tasks using organizational and time management techniques to successfully deliver against a long term globalization strategy.
• Provide guidance and thought leadership around capabilities in Time and Absence Functional Areas
• Proactively suggests improvements and addresses issues.
• Contributes to knowledge management capital through activities such as sharing documented lessons learned, Q&A, documented deliverables, and regularly posting best practices and knowledge sharing information to the internal info sharing site.
• Understands the scope and details of project plan and is able to identify and communicate the need for resources for tasks or assigned areas of responsibility.
• Will provide guidance, instruction, direction, and leadership to other team members.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 plus years previous experience with Time and/or Absence.
• Experience with payroll integrations and the interconnected nature with the time and absence functional area
• Possesses strong facilitation/presentation skills.
• Experience in transforming business requirements into system configurations.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize conflicting demands with little supervision.
• Demonstrates strong work ethics, setting an example for others.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Previous consulting experience either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software organization is preferred.
