In your new role you will:

• Lead architecture and design of embedded firmware systems for ARMbased microcontrollers with focus on USB Power Delivery.
• In depth knowledge of Low-level hardware bring-up and debugging of firmware drivers on pre-silicon and post-silicon microcontroller development platforms.
• Collaborate with hardware and system designers to define and develop system solutions and customer interfaces.
• Hire and develop team members required to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Manage all aspects of SW/FW lifecycle from requirements gathering, hardware/software partitioning, co-development with silicon, to production software releases.
• Functional representation in project cross-functional teams driving definition and completion of project goals.
• Mentor and guide junior team members and drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Enable and drive system thinking and innovation within the team.
• Interface with customers in analyzing requirements and providing timely support post release

Your profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• An All-rounder with expert knowledge in embedded firmware programming in C.
• In depth knowledge and experience in developing software for ARMbased microcontrollers.
• Preferably an expert in USB-PD protocol standards, AC/DC, DC/DC power topologies.
• Proven experience in state-of-the-art embedded software development tool chains and processes.
• Deep understanding of communication microcontroller peripherals likeI2C, UART, SPI, DMA etc.
• Ability to work with and debug prototype hardware, pre-silicon platforms in a lab environment.
• Good working knowledge and experience in JIRA, GIT, Jenkins, Confluence.
• An experienced leader in embedded system development with at least15 years of experience.
