  • The individual will provide support on the following Product Environmental Compliance programs:
  • Product environmental compliance through enforcement of Western Digital's Product Environmental Specification, Material Declaration Data Sheet (MDDS) management & Compliance Database management;
  • Fulfillment of related customer requests on environmental compliance topics;
  • and support product and packaging compliance assurance and regulatory management activities (e.g., RoHS, REACH, SCIP, Prop 65, WEEE, labeling and reporting etc.)
Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will have a B.Tech in Environmental/Chemical/Materials Engineering with more than 10 years experience or equivalent.
  • Experience working with Semiconductor product structures, hard drives & solid state drives manufacturing operations, supply chain management and driving projects in social & environmental responsibility area.
  • Working knowledge of global environmental and social responsibility regulations/ standards and best management practices highly desired
