Job Description

• Engage in development leveraging technologies such as JAVA/J2EE, RESTful, Spring MVC, XML, NoSQL DBs and others.
• Design and develop secure and well performing applications and services with Spring MVC, Web Security, multithreading, and cache management etc.
• Design and develop scalable platform to acquire and process big data using technology such as Apache Spark, NoSQL Databases, Presto/Trino.
• Learn and evaluate latest technology stack and recommend wherever required.
• Understand requirements and create artifacts such as design documents, review artifacts and contribute towards the end-to-end solution.
• Develop and deploy applications, portals on cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Work with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB etc.
• Experience with Maven, Gradle, Jira, Jenkins, Spring Boot, GitHub etc.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Have experience and appreciation for working in high-paced agile environment.
• Actively participate in the effort of defining development best practices, facilitate code reviews and process improvements.

Demonstrated Experience

• Experience designing and implementing J2EE web applications with highly optimized and scalable architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience in in Java / J2EE to handle and process big data.
• Knowledgeable of and have solid understanding of Object-Oriented concepts, web application development best practices, design patterns, and frameworks.
• Solid working experience in Spring, Sprint Boot and Microservices.
• Working experience in Cloud technologies.
• Good at performance tuning of applications.
• Good understanding of Relational and NoSQL Database.
• Good experience in service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices and containers.
• Good scrum methodology experience.
• Experience with Angular JS or other JavaScript framework is good to have.
• Building high quality software using test-driven development practices in a high-paced agile environment
