  • B. Tech / M. Tech in Chemical/ Mechanical engineering from reputed university with minimum 10 years of experience in Energy engineering profile.
  • Must be a BEE Certified Energy Manager (or) Energy Auditor (CEM/CEA).
  • Preferred to have GHG verification certification
  • Experience in the BEE notified sectors (or) experience in sectors like Distribution companies and Petroleum refineries.
  • Experience in energy management, plant process and evaluation of techno-economics of energy efficiency measures is required.
  • Ability to manage and execute multiple projects.
  • Being rigorous, autonomous, curious and a great team player.
  • Possess effective communication and coordination skills.
Overview / ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate will be responsible for the following activities:
  • The primary area of work is Energy Efficiency and Energy conservation. The person will lead the technical team undertaking Energy Audits, Energy performance contracting and ESCO projects.
  • Perform detailed ECM (Energy Conservation Measures) analysis with calculation.
  • Preparing audit reports that include the results of the energy analysis or suggestions regarding energy cost savings.
  • Formulating detailed study report on energy saving proposals.
  • Establish baselines for energy use and needs by quantifying energy consumption.
  • Develop integrated system of energy efficiency and environmental upgradation.
  • To understand technical feasibility of energy-saving measures using engineering knowledge, energy use, construction, maintenance, system operation or process systems
  • To create a knowledge bank on sectoral, national, and international development on energy efficient technology and management system and information denomination.
  • Involvement in PAT related activities will be an added advantage.
  • Should be conversant with existing industrial energy efficient technologies.
  • Strong understanding of Indian power/energy sector is required with knowledge of latest government programs in power sector.
  • Proficient in Management/Operations & Maintenance/technical evaluation of Energy Saving.
  • Maintain documentation as per quality procedure.
  • Oversee and manage a team of junior engineers on each study.
  • Responsible for maintaining client interface during project execution. Coordinate external interfaces with the client, and internal interfaces with the project management team, construction, engineering, and commissioning disciplines.
  • Liaise with Engineering disciplines, procurement, cost estimation for the necessary inputs required for Proposal works.
  • Work in compliance with all safety rules and regulations and maintain quality.
