The team is embedded in Digital Engineering organization within Schneider Digital entity in charge of enterprise processes, practices and enabling tools across whole Schneider Electric.:
We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in Continuous Delivery, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Containerization for enabling GitOps applications on internal VPC cloud provider for Global applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing robust DevSecOps practices, enabling seamless integration and deployment of applications. This role requires a proactive individual with a passion for automation, scalability, observability and efficiency in software development and deployment processes.Key Responsibilities:Continuous Delivery:

• Defining the version control system branching strategy for the delivery and provisioning of the applications on targeted environments

Design, implement, and manage Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines automated with GitHub Actions.

• Ensure automated build, test, and deployment processes are robust, reliable, and scalable.

• Collaborate with development (DEV) and operations (OPS) teams to streamline the delivery of software to production while ensuring security versions are deploying (SEC)

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation scripts using enabling technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

• Implement and manage scalable, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructure.

• Ensure infrastructure is version-controlled, tested, and compliant with security standards.

Containerization:

• Design and implement containerization strategies using Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration enabling technologies.

• Manage and optimize containerized applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in containerized environments.

Skills and CompetencesCollaboration and Mentorship:

• Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance to ensure best practices are followed.
• Able to work in a truly global environment

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:12-15 years of experience in IT, with at least 7 years in DevOps or related roles.Proven experience in working on GitHub for tracking version controlProven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelinesExperience working on with Git technology and understanding of Git branching strategies.Desirable experience on GitHub, GitHub Actions and ArgoCD technologiesStrong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.Extensive experience with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), or OpenShift.Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Solid understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure management.Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentExperience working on integrated DevSecOps tool chain ecosystem (GitHub, JFrog Artifactory, Jira, Confluence, SonarQube)Experience working on High Availability architecture environmentsPreferred Qualifications:Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator).Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.Our EEO statement :Schneider Electric aspires to be the most inclusive and caring company in the world, by providing equitable opportunities to everyone, everywhere, and ensuring all employees feel uniquely valued and safe to contribute their best.We mirror the diversity of the communities in which we operate and we \'embrace different\' as one of our core values.
