Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - Regulatory Data Analyst!As Regulatory Data Analyst, you will support the Data Owners, Data Consumers and Data Stewards in an Enterprise Data Remediation Process intended to remediate data concerns which arise from regulatory data not meeting quality requirements.Responsibilities

• Analyze if a newly logged data concern is/related to an existing data concern/issue.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis which determines the Break Point for Remediation. Defects identified in this process will answer \xe2\x80\x9cWhat\xe2\x80\x9d is broken, \xe2\x80\x9cwhere\xe2\x80\x9d the break occurred, and the underlying Root Cause, the "Why\xe2\x80\x9d of the occurrence.
• Review and validate data provided and obtain new data where required to commence the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Process.
• Analyze Data Quality Rule results to recommend Data Quality Rule modifications or, the need to investigate a Data-Related issue.
• Document the details of RCA by Recursive Data Transformation review and determine the Root causes of defects.
• Identify potential preventive measures, tactical and/or strategic system for fixes.
• Conduct detailed Impact Analysis
• Confirm Remediation Ownership
• Improve Data Quality rules including Data Construct, Critical Data Element, Rule registration in Collibra, scripting business rules, collaborating with Technology to implement Rules, Testing implementation of rules.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in any of the following Data Management areas including, Regulatory Data Sourcing/Requirements gathering and testing, Regulatory report generation, Report Certification, Regulatory Data Quality control.
• Familiarity with Basel III, CCAR, CECL, FR 2052A, FDIC, Y9C, LCR and other similar Banking regulations

Basel III- Basel Committee for Banking Supervision Norms III
CCAR- Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review
CECL- Current Expected Credit Losses
FR 2052A- Federal Reserve Board report collects quantitative information on selected assets, liabilities, funding activities, and contingent liabilities on a consolidated basis and by material entity subsidiary.
FDIC- Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation
Y9C- The FR Y-9C is a primary analytical tool used to monitor financial institutions between on-site inspections. The form contains more schedules than any of the FR Y-9 series of reports and is the most widely requested and reviewed report at the holding company level.
LCR- Liquidity Coverage Ratio

• Knowledge of consumer Banking Business/Product (Deposits, Cards, Loans, Mortgages) from a Risk, Finance, Compliance or, Operations perspective.
• Agile with strong Communication, Presentation skills, Data Analysis & Problem-solving skills using Excel & SQL
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science
