Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, Project Manager - Legal. The role holder will be responsible to drive strategic projects for LCS, managing all aspects of the project (technology / non-technology / transformation / migrations/ outsourcing), through its lifecycle, to agreed budget and quality. The job holder will be required to be self-motivated and own key elements of delivery as part of the wider team and work with minimal supervision. Responsibilities

Strategic Planning - work with stakeholders to identify and assess legal requirements and align them with the banks overall business objectives. Prioritize and plan legal initiatives and projects by working together with stakeholders and other internal teams. Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Manage the Project investment budget. Drive a disciplined budget process and accurate forecasting, including the development of capacity plans as required, to deliver on budget outcomes. Manage the project RAIDS and escalate any issue for swift resolution Manage vendor relationships (if applicable) and monitor tightly on spend and progress against delivery schedules Communicate project progress, risks and issues to senior management and stakeholders Ensure project deliverables are of high quality and meet the banks legal and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with other departments within the bank to ensure projects are aligned with overall business strategy. Ensure minimal disruption to services, reduction in back-out activities, and cost-effective utilization of resources involved in implementing change. Lead the implementation of projects/process improvement initiatives, as directed Contribute to the development of the vision and strategy for the function, consistent with the Group's strategic direction and growth aspirations. Ensure that the project adheres to SCB project central requirements. Implement agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) across multiple projects and ensure project teams are following agile practices and principles.
Manage project backlogs and sprint planning sessions. Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint reviews and retrospectives. Have an awareness and understanding of the SCB Project ECM team requirements and guidelines on how to run agile projects internally. Coordinate and consider inputs from all teams involved from Legal and Technology. Prepare agendas, meeting materials and minutes from all project meetings. Maintain all project artefacts and updated to our project Knowledge base on confluence. Lead the implementation of projects/process improvement initiatives, as directed Contribute to the development of the vision and strategy for the function, consistent with the Group's strategic direction and growth aspirations. Ensure that the project adheres to SCB project central requirements. Implement agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) across multiple projects and ensure project teams are following agile practices and principles. Manage project backlogs and sprint planning sessions. Work with Senior Manager, Legal Operations and Finance Business Partner to track financial performance against targets Ensure all appropriate governance controls are being followed by LCS Process Owners to ensure the function is 100% compliant. Manage the project RAIDS and escalate any issue in a timely manner for swift resolution. Manage proficiently any governance meetings including, driving a focused agenda, meeting TOR requirements, timely circulation of papers and actions/minutes, and driving actions to completion. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with an ability to build relationships both within a team and external departments/stakeholders. Be self-motivated, adaptable and show initiative. Display a culture of individual ownership of tasks to embed a clear sense of accountability in performing the role.
Provide guidance and support to team members including training and mentoring. Have an awareness and understanding of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework in relation to the Legal Operations and project activities as required, and associated policies and standards. Maintain up to date and accurate financial plans, risk and issue management, status reporting and schedule management on in scope projects. Have an awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role. Ensure adherence to all Operational Risk Governance by all stakeholders involved.

Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications
PMP, PRINCE 2, ITIL (good to have) Licences and Certifications/accreditations: Scrum Master and Product Owner certification from Scrum Alliance, Scrum.org or other associations

Strong communication skills in English Strong Project Management experience, with good understanding of Legal environment
