The Role AspenTech is seeking a senior level position within our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Professional Services organization based in our Pune, India office or within the Asia Pacific Region with travel up to 25% to the Pune office and surrounding clients. As part of the MES Professional Services member, you\'ll join us on our transformation journey to help our customers become part of the new era of autonomy where customers have shared goals with AspenTech to attain operational excellence by running faster, greener, and safer in the most challenging market conditions, while broadening technical and industry knowledge. Your Impact Serve as subject matter expert in leading and implementing AspenTech MES projects. This includes but not limited to: Gathering customer requirements and translating those into high-level solution designs for aspenONE MES products. (Aspen Production Execution Manager, Aspen Unified Reconciliation and Accounting, in addition to sister applications within AIoT products Aspen Infoplus.21, Aspen Production Record Manager, aspenONE Process Explorer, etc.) Defining and implementing data integration with external systems and aspenONE products such as Petro Supply Chain (PSC), includes learning the latest Aspen Unified solutions at the level needed for data integration. Deliver technical documents such as Functional Specifications, Detailed Design Documents, as well as Site Acceptance Test Documents. Be confident, capable, and have solid ability to play a leading role on projects. Demonstrate collaboration with the AspenTech Project Management team, Sales Team, involving technical to non-technical aspects of the project. Formulating business processes to support the systems. Working with clients to implement the systems and delivery of systems. Commissioning the completed systems which may require on site monitoring and analysis. Working closely with Project Managers to manage project budgets/schedules. Participation in commercial proposal development and testing of software new releases. Designing and implementing enterprise-wide visualization and collaboration solutions using AspenTech products, or 3rd party (PowerBI). This also includes integration work with Aspen Supply Chain solutions to support these projects. Conducting demonstrations, training, requirements analysis and system design workshops. Prepare and adjust training material for MES products and related integration. What You\'ll Need 7 - 10+ years of experience implementing Manufacturing Execution system software in one or more of the process industries that includes Oil and Gas, Polymers, Chemicals, or Pharmaceutical. Experience with Yield Accounting and Oil Movements is a plus. Experience with Programming languages such as .NET, VB, JSON, C++, SQL etc. Solid technical programming background is necessary. Experience with web development such as ASP.NET, JSON, React, Node.js etc. Experience with implementation of real-time databases or RDBMS. (Oracle and MS SQL Server) Ability to travel (typical 25% travel to customers\' sites) - part of the consultancy role. Demonstrated multi-project experience serving as a technical lead in systems implementations. Experience with systems integration Best Practice methodologies. (involving MS SQL Server, ORACLE, SAP, historians, cloud storage) Knowledge on Yield Accounting, Oil Movements systems and its integration with upstream/downstream processes, such as data historians and production scheduling data. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills, leadership, and grit to help customers and internal organizations. Possess an inquisitive nature and a need to understand why and how things are done, and not be afraid to ask questions. Appreciate complexity and relish troubleshooting and solving problems. Team Player, demonstrate great organizational skills as there is more than one project to support, and must have a positive attitude.
