Job Title: Principal BASE24 Technical Consultant.

Job Location: Mumbai

Primary Skills

10+ years of experience in switching technology on BASE24-classic & BASE24-eps application; with good knowledge on software development life cycle with experience in methodologies like Waterfall and Agile.

Work closely with the business users and technical teams to elicit and document business requirements.

Well skilled in team building and mentoring with ability to handle parallel tasks.

Expertise on various phases like requirement gathering, designing, development, testing & support, team leading, production movement support and postproduction activities.

Languages - TAL, TACL, COBOL85, SCOBOL, C, C++, JAVA, .NET. Good domain knowledge in ATM , POS and Ecommerce transaction processing.

Primarily responsible for the identification/development of solutions for customers. Defines customer needs and develops a plan and proposal for delivery of the project. Viewed by customers as a consultant.

Must be familiar with BASE24/BASE24-eps modules, Architecture and coding standards with excellent development, debugging and troubleshooting skills

Knowledge of the Acquiring & Card industry, including processing concepts, scheme rules and relationships.

Responsible for synthesizing customer requirements, the technology stack, and the construction of ACI applications. Understand and refine product and customer business requirements.

Ability to develop, debug and review BASE24 code as per the ACI / BASE24 standards.

Be in a position to work as a Lead or independent contributor of all BASE24/BASE24-eps Development projects. Ability to lead a team of BASE24 developers and Implementers as needed by the project.

Experience in deployment of new product releases and/or solution upgrades.

Experience on Payment Industry / Online transaction (ISO8583/ISO93), XML/SOAP,REST, JSON

Demonstrate solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with payment processing solutions.

Ability to define and clarify technical tasks to implement a project.

Proven experience in reviewing solution definition and product requirement documents.

Capable of working as SME (Subject Matter Expert), coordinating with various stake holders.

Anticipates the implications and consequences of risks or business situations and takes appropriate action to prepare for possible mitigation actions and or contingencies.

Has the ability to identify information needed to clarify a risk or business situation, seeks that information from appropriate sources and use skillful questioning to draw out the information.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

  • Educational Qualifications - BE/BTech/MCA/MSc
  • Experience with Payments industry and electronic payment systems.

  • ATM config files
  • Interchange interface
  • ISO8583
  • EMV/Contactless
  • Excellent knowledge on BASE24 / BASE24-eps development skills.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills experience on Base24 ATM, POS, Interchanges. In-depth knowledge of Base24 Switch application
  • Working knowledge on TSS
  • HP Non-stop Skills.
  • TACL
  • TAL/COBOL85/SCOBOL
  • Enscribe/DDL
  • Tools like FUP, SCUP, INSPECT, Pathway, SCF
Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart

Experience on working with C , C++, Java, .NET and object-oriented programming.

Technical writing skills with ability to write design documentation.

Knowledge of other ACI products like PRM and UPF.

Any other Payment switch hands on experience in a deployment or software engineer capacity.

Agile methodologies and frameworks. Knowledge of Source code version control tools.

Hands on experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL /Oracle.

Experience with Linux and/or UNIX.

Real-time payments processing or retail banking experience in a technical customer facing capacity.
