Role and Responsibilities
The Vice Principal will be responsible for maintaining discipline in the school, along with the
Principal. Besides, will be coordinating with the teaching and non-teaching staff for the smooth
functioning of the school operations.
Administration
a. The vice principal helps with the school's administration, including:
b. Setting the school's timetable
c. Ensuring lesson planning and implementation as per CBSE guidelines and to maintain best
academic standards of students.
d. Planning tests and assigning teachers to screen them
e. Coordinating transportation for students and staff
f. Attending conferences
g. Meeting with staff
Education
a. The vice principal helps with the school's education, including:
b. Developing new curriculum
c. Evaluating new teachers
d. Overseeing the work of Heads of School
e. Overseeing the teaching staff and their professional developmentStudent affairs
a. The vice principal helps with student affairs, including:
b. Handling school clubs and social programs
c. Enforcing school rules
d. Addressing health and safety concerns
e. Meeting with parents
Commitment to Boarding
All students will board, and all staff will be residential-on site or close to the school. The Vice
Principal will be fully involved in boarding, including evening and weekend duties and
residential visits. A passion for educating the whole child is essential.
a. Along with the principal will monitor the functioning of the hostel. maintenance of
accommodation, student facilities and food.
b. Will monitor the student learning in the self-study time in the hostel.
c. Will ensure proper weekend timetable for the students and monitor its proper
implementation.
