Position Title: CBSE Principal
Location: opp kala bhairava temple, simhachalam, old adavivaram, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh 530028
Reports To: School Management
Key Responsibilities:
1. Academic Leadership:
• Ensure effective implementation of CBSE curriculum and adherence to NCERT guidelines.
• Develop and oversee lesson plans , academic calendars , and evaluation systems .
• Monitor teaching practices , lesson planning , and classroom management to enhance learning outcomes.
• Conduct faculty meetings , training sessions , and workshops to enhance teacher performance.
• Promote innovative teaching methods , technology integration , and co-curricular activities .
• Ensure timely completion of syllabus and preparation for board examinations .
2. Administrative Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement school policies , rules , and regulations in line with CBSE bylaws .
• Prepare and manage annual budgets , resource allocations , and infrastructure planning .
• Supervise admissions , student records , and ERP data management systems .
• Ensure safety protocols , fire drills , and compliance with health and hygiene standards .
• Handle staff recruitment , payroll approvals , and HR matters in collaboration with the HR department .
• Maintain and update all CBSE-affiliated records including UDISE , LOA approvals , and inspection reports .
3. Staff Management:
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff .
• Conduct performance appraisals and implement professional development programs .
• Monitor teacher workload , timetable scheduling , and class allocations .
• Address grievances , conflicts , and ensure a healthy work culture .
• Approve leave applications and manage substitution plans .
4. Student Development and Discipline:
• Establish and monitor student discipline policies and ensure a positive learning environment .
• Oversee student counseling programs and provide support for academic and emotional well-being .
• Monitor student attendance , performance reports , and remedial classes .
• Encourage participation in sports , cultural programs , and CBSE-sponsored activities .
• Handle parental complaints and resolve student-related conflicts efficiently.
5. CBSE Compliance and Accreditation:
• Ensure the school maintains CBSE affiliation standards , including documentation, inspections, and audits.
• Submit annual reports , compliance forms , and updates to the CBSE Board .
• Oversee board examination preparations and adherence to examination protocols .
• Prepare affiliation renewal documents , infrastructure audit reports , and safety certifications .
• Implement policies related to RTE (Right to Education) , NEP 2020 , and Child Protection Acts .
6. Stakeholder Management:
• Build relationships with parents , community members , and governing bodies .
• Organize PTMs (Parent-Teacher Meetings) and open houses to communicate school performance.
• Liaise with CBSE Board , education consultants , and government authorities .
• Collaborate with NGOs and external agencies for community outreach programs .
Qualifications and Skills:
• Educational Qualification:
• Master's Degree (M.A./M.Sc.) with B.Ed. or M.Ed. (Mandatory).
• Ph.D. in Education or related field (preferred).
• Experience:
• Minimum 5-10 years of teaching experience.
• At least 3-5 years of administrative/leadership experience in a CBSE-affiliated school .
• Skills Required:
• Strong understanding of CBSE guidelines , affiliation norms , and academic planning .
• Excellent leadership , decision-making , and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in ERP systems , Microsoft Office , and educational technologies .
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to handle diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to conduct teacher training programs and staff development sessions .
• High emotional intelligence and ability to mentor both students and teachers.
• Knowledge of data-driven decision-making for performance improvement.

• Academic Performance:
• Student progress in board exams and internal assessments .
• Staff Development:
• Teacher evaluation reports and professional development programs .
• Operational Efficiency:
• Timely completion of tasks like admission processes , budget approvals , and CBSE compliance .
• Stakeholder Feedback:
• Positive feedback from students , parents , and teachers .
• Infrastructure Management:
• Compliance with safety protocols and resource optimization .
Reporting and Review Schedule:
• Monthly Reports submitted to School Management regarding academics, operations, and compliance.
• Quarterly Evaluations based on staff and student performance .
• Annual Self-Appraisal and Staff Appraisal Reviews for career development.
Salary Range:
• INR 65,000 - 1,00,000 per month •(Depending on experience and school size)•
