Job Description

The Primary Teacher will be responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic development of young children. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine enthusiasm for working with young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and creativity.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and cooperation.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing individualized support as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the overall development of students.
• Organize and participate in classroom activities and events that enhance the educational experience.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic progress.
• Stay current with best practices in early childhood education and incorporate new strategies into the classroom.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Proven experience working with young children in a classroom setting.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and effective teaching practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young learners.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with current educational technologies and tools.
• Additional certifications or training in early childhood education.

Physical Requirements:

• Capability to engage in physical activities with children and playing games.
