Job Description
A primary teacher is responsible for teaching, mentoring, and supervising young children in their foundational years of education. Their main role is to equip students with the basic knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for lifelong learning.
Responsibilities
• Develop lesson plans and prepare teaching materials
• Instruct students in fundamental subjects such as reading, writing, mathematics, and science
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Maintain the classroom environment, including discipline and behavior management
• Conduct parent-teacher meetings and provide regular feedback to parents on their children's progress
• Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and parents to provide a holistic learning experience for students
• Participate actively in extra-curricular activities and school events
