Job Title: Class Teacher
Reporting to: Program Manager
Location: Vikhroli West, Mumbai
Employment Type: Full Time
Working Days: Monday to Friday (12.00 pm to 6 pm)
Saturday (11.00 am to 4.00 pm)
Lead Teacher: Grades 1 / 2 / 3
Subject: English, Maths, Evs, Marathi
Preferred Qualifications:
• Completed graduate or Masters
• Completed either D. Ed or B.ed
Key Role Summary:
The teacher is responsible for implementing a holistic learning design in classrooms by ensuring steady student attendance and participation, creating a vibrant learning environment, and displaying everyday excellence and innovation toward pushing student benchmarks to achieve learning outcomes and develop 21st-century skills. The teacher is expected to demonstrate a positive learning attitude and an ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Nurture 21st-century learners
• Create a safe and conducive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning.
• Inspire and motivate students to become active and engaged learners.
• Create an environment of open communication and maintain a feedback loop to enrich classroom processes.
• Foster skills of collaboration, communication, creativity and critical thinking on an everyday basis.
• Enhance student growth through emotional support and consideration.
• Create a focused plan of action to develop independent learners.
Curriculum Management
• Record learning outcomes for all subjects.
• Create detailed lesson plans based on the outlined learning outcomes.
• Create and implement periodic learning assessments to evaluate students' learning achievements.
• Apply innovative teaching methods to integrate contemporary topics and 21st century skills in every classroom interaction.
• Create and implement co-curricular activities that foster creativity and communication
Classroom Management
• Implement lesson plans in an engaging, interactive manner.
• Use positive reinforcement to foster positive values and behaviors in students.
• Create opportunities for increased student participation in classrooms.
• Observe and assess learning needs of students and discuss challenges with the program manager.
• Create and implement action plans to address the learning challenges of individual students with support from Program Manager
• Create and implement action plans to accelerate the learning of the high performers in the class with support from Program Manager.
• Implement differentiated instruction as per classroom needs.
Monitoring and Evaluation
• Create and maintain program data including attendance records, and academic records.
• Conduct summative and formative assessments for students.
• Conduct objective observations of students' academic and co-curricular performance.
• Review implementation of lesson plans against pre-planned monthly learning outcomes.
• Conduct assessment for socio-emotional needs of students.
• Analyze class performance and set benchmarks for each academic quarter
Stakeholder Management
• Communicate, co-operate and consult with other members of the school staff to ensure smooth functioning of the program.
• Maintain positive and collaborative relationships with parents to ensure the best interest of students.
• Maintain positive relationships with and support volunteer activities in the classroom.
• Support the Program Manager and Program Coordinator with any other tasks that contribute towards the effective functioning of the program and organization.

Pay: ?8,000.00 - ?14,000.00 per month
