Job Description

The Primary English Facilitator will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English language lessons to primary school students. The role involves planning and implementing a curriculum that fosters language skills, creativity, and critical thinking while ensuring alignment with school standards.

Key Responsibilities:Teaching & Learning:



Develop and deliver interactive and engaging English lessons for primary students. Use innovative teaching strategies to enhance reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Create a student-centered learning environment that encourages curiosity and confidence. Incorporate storytelling, phonics, grammar exercises, and creative writing into lesson plans. Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Assessment & Evaluation:



Design and administer formative and summative assessments to track student progress. Provide timely feedback to students and parents on academic performance. Maintain accurate records of student progress and report to school management.

Classroom Management:



Establish a positive and inclusive classroom culture. Implement effective classroom management techniques to ensure discipline and engagement. Encourage collaborative learning and respectful communication.

Collaboration & Professional Development:



Work closely with fellow teachers, coordinators, and school leadership to ensure curriculum alignment. Participate in training programs, workshops, and faculty meetings. Stay updated with best practices in English language teaching and pedagogy.

Qualifications & Skills:



Bachelor's or Master's degree in English / Education or a related field. B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification is preferred. Prior experience teaching English in primary grades (minimum 2-3 years preferred). Strong command over the English language, including grammar, phonics, and literature. Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with digital teaching tools and interactive learning methods.
