Job Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Pricing Executive specializing in Sea and Air Freight for import and export operations. In this role, you will play a crucial part in determining competitive and profitable pricing strategies, ensuring our services remain attractive to clients while optimizing revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer requirements to develop pricing strategies for sea and air freight services.
• Calculate freight rates based on factors such as shipment size, weight, destination, and mode of transport.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to determine pricing that meets revenue and profitability targets.
• Prepare and submit quotations and proposals to potential and existing customers.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms with customers, ensuring agreements are beneficial to both parties.
• Monitor and evaluate pricing performance against targets and implement adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain accurate pricing records and documentation.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, tariffs, and market conditions that could impact pricing strategies.
• Provide insights and recommendations on pricing adjustments and market trends to senior management.
• Support the sales team with pricing information and guidance to facilitate effective client negotiations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
• 0 to 4 years of work experience in pricing within the freight forwarding or logistics industry, with specific exposure to sea and air freight operations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel for data analysis.
• Familiarity with pricing software and tools (e.g., TMS, ERP systems) preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
