Key Responsibilities:
• Curriculum Planning and Delivery
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of preschool-aged children.
• Introduce foundational concepts in literacy, numeracy, science, and art through hands-on activities and play.
• Incorporate a variety of teaching strategies, including storytelling, songs, games, and sensory experiences.
• Classroom Management
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Establish and enforce classroom rules to ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
• Monitor and manage student behavior with positive reinforcement techniques.
• Student Development
• Observe and assess children's progress and development through structured and informal observations.
• Identify and address developmental delays or learning challenges in collaboration with specialists.
• Encourage the development of social skills, self-regulation, and independence.
• Parent Communication
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress, achievements, and concerns.
• Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss student performance and development.
• Provide regular updates through newsletters or digital platforms.
• Team Collaboration
• Work closely with teaching assistants, other educators, and school staff to create a cohesive educational environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
• Health and Safety
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
• Administer first aid when necessary and follow emergency procedures.
• Promote healthy habits such as hygiene, nutrition, and physical activity.
