Pre-Primary Teacher (Freshers Welcome)
:
1. Curriculum Development: Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities to support the holistic development of children aged 2-5 years.
2. Classroom Management: Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that encourages children's exploration, curiosity, and social-emotional development.
3. Instructional Delivery: Deliver engaging and interactive lessons using a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
4. Individualized Attention: Identify and address the unique needs of each child, providing individualized support and guidance to promote their growth and development.
5. Parent Communication: Establish effective communication channels with parents or guardians to provide regular updates on their child's progress and address any concerns or questions.
6. Assessments and Progress Tracking: Observe and document children's progress, strengths, and areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback to parents and colleagues.
7. Classroom Resources: Maintain a well-organized and adequately stocked classroom, ensuring the availability of age-appropriate materials, resources, and teaching aids.
8. Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues and participate actively in staff meetings, workshops, and professional development activities to enhance your teaching skills and stay updated with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications:
1. ECC.ED Course: Completion of an ECC.ED course is mandatory. This qualification ensures a strong foundation in early childhood education principles and practices.
2. Passion for Early Childhood Education: Genuine enthusiasm for working with young children and a strong commitment to their overall development and well-being.
3. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
4. Creativity and Flexibility: Ability to design and adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet the diverse needs and interests of young learners.
5. Patience and Empathy: A patient and empathetic approach to understanding and supporting the unique challenges and emotions of young children.
