Responsibilities:
Teachers must make the education of their students their first concern and commit to doing whatever it takes to help children achieve their full potential. Maple Bear teachers need to be warm and approachable to the child as well as the parent. They need to be prepared and organized to teach their lessons in a clear and structured way, enabling students to progress in every lesson, regardless of each student's starting point.
The Teacher's responsibilities include:
o Teaching -
• Implementing Maple Bear curriculum in a well-planned manner.
• Ensuring students' well-being within school is maintained at all times.
• Supporting an ethos of high expectations for the behaviour and achievement of all students.
• Supporting all students to attend school regularly and on time.
• Being accountable for each student's progress and outcomes.
• Monitoring student's progress viz. his/her learning style.
• Monitoring and evaluating the performance of the students; responding and reporting to the stakeholders as required.
• Engaging parents as partners in their children's learning, through parents' meetings and other events.
• Organizing and participating in educational trips and events.
• Preparing the classrooms as per the required standards.
• Maintaining all the records required to run the program.
o Training and development -
• Attending ongoing teacher training and professional growth workshops held in school or any other location in the city. (These will be full-day sessions).
• Participating in ongoing development initiatives including being regularly observed while teaching; receiving and responding to feedback.
• Participating in Zoom calls to update about the lesson plan implementation in the classrooms.
• Working and collaborating with colleagues to plan lessons, and share experiences and best practices.
• Maintaining a healthy relationship with the co-teacher (if any).
o Other responsibilities -
• Performing additional duties and tasks required for the effective operation of the school, as directed by the school management.
• Being understanding of Maple Bear's mission and vision.
• Resolve concerns regarding student behaviour or learning problems.
• Creating and maintaining an environment to promote effective learning, good behaviour, and a high standard of achievement.
• Accompanying children on van routes.
• Planning special days, festivals, and all other celebrations in school.
• Maintaining a professional code of conduct in school.

Pay: ?9,813.29 - ?26,682.61 per month
