Job Title: Preschool Teacher

Job Summary:

The Preschool Teacher is responsible for creating and maintaining a nurturing, stimulating, and safe learning environment for young children aged [specific age range, e.g., 3-5 years]. This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate educational activities, fostering social-emotional development, and working closely with parents to support each child's growth and development.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred. An associate degree or relevant certifications may be considered.
• Experience: Prior experience working with young children in a preschool or early childhood setting is preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and learning principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
• Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification may be required or preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Educational Planning: Develop and execute daily lesson plans that adhere to the preschool curriculum and state education standards. Incorporate a variety of teaching methods to engage children and address different learning styles.
• Classroom Management: Create a positive and structured classroom environment. Set clear expectations and manage behavior in a supportive and consistent manner.
• Child Development: Observe and assess children's progress and development. Provide individualized support and adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of each child.
• Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians. Provide regular updates on children's progress and address any concerns or questions.
• Health and Safety: Ensure a safe and clean classroom environment. Follow health and safety protocols, including emergency procedures and hygiene practices.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and administrators to support the overall goals of the preschool. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential records of children's development, attendance, and any incidents or concerns.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
