Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Planning and Implementation:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that supports early childhood development and aligns with educational standards.
- Plan and execute daily activities, lessons, and projects that encourage exploration, creativity, and learning.
- Incorporate a variety of instructional strategies, including play-based learning, to meet the diverse needs of children.
- Classroom Management:
- Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes social and emotional growth.
- Establish and maintain classroom routines and procedures to ensure a safe and orderly learning environment.
- Monitor and manage children\'s behavior, using positive discipline techniques and guiding children towards appropriate behavior.
- Assessment and Progress Monitoring:
- Observe and assess children\'s development and learning progress, documenting and maintaining accurate records.
- Provide regular feedback to parents through conferences, written reports, and informal communication.
- Use assessment data to inform instruction and individualize learning experiences.
- Health and Safety:
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in the classroom.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom, following health and safety regulations.
- Administer basic first aid and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Family Engagement and Communication:
- Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians, involving them in their child\'s education.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child\'s progress, school events, and classroom activities.
- Encourage parent participation in classroom activities, field trips, and school events.
- Professional Development:
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas, resources, and strategies for effective teaching.
- Education:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (required).
- Certification in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
- Teaching: 1 year (Required)
