Role Description This part-time preschool teacher role at Kizzards Group of Preschools involves creating a safe and nurturing environment for young children, aged from 2 to 4 years where they have the opportunity to develop social, emotional, cognitive and motor skills. The preschool teacher should be able to create and carry out lesson plans and activities, monitor and assess student progress, communicate with parents about their child\'s development, maintain a safe and healthy environment, and also provide positive guidance and discipline to promote good behavior in the classroom. This is an on-site role located in Chennai. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or other related field Certification in Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) , or Montessori training Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience working with young children and knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching practices Ability to be patient, compassionate, and well-organized Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and emergency procedures Ability to work collaboratively with others Fluency in English and Tamil (both written and spoken) is a plus
