Pre Primary Teacher
Job Description
Pre-primary teachers should have a positive mindset toward child learning, and be able to work with children with diverse backgrounds and abilities. They should also be patient, compassionate, and have the energy to guide a class of young children.
• Teaching: Teaching basic skills like colors, shapes, numbers, and letters. They also plan and implement a curriculum that focuses on child development.
• Creating a learning environment: Ensuring the learning environment is suitable for children, and designing quality learning environments.
• Building relationships: Fostering trusting relationships with children, and communicating with parents about their child's behavior.
• Supporting children's well-being: Investing in the students' well-being, health, and safety. They also watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in each child.
• Managing the classroom: Instilling order in the classroom, disciplining students when needed, and organizing nap and snack time.
• Working with colleagues: Collaborating with colleagues to improve practices, and adding to the center's culture of teamwork.

Pay: ?10,305.72 - ?20,000.00 per month
