• Develop and implement age-appropriate, creative lesson plans that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical development in young children.
• Use a variety of teaching methods, including play-based learning, hands-on activities, and sensory experiences to engage children.
• Adapt activities to meet the varying needs of individual children, including those with special needs or diverse backgrounds.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and safe classroom that fosters curiosity, exploration, and creativity.
• Organize materials, resources, and learning centers to stimulate learning and encourage independence.
• Ensure the health, safety, and hygiene of children, following school policies and procedures.
• Observe and assess children's progress in developmental areas, including social, emotional, physical, and cognitive domains.
• Use assessment data to identify each child's strengths and areas for growth, tailoring instruction accordingly.
• Maintain detailed records of each child's progress and communicate regularly with parents and caregivers.
• Support children in developing social skills, emotional regulation, and positive relationships with peers and adults.
• Encourage respect, empathy, and teamwork through group activities, role-playing, and positive reinforcement.
• Address behavioral concerns with sensitivity, using positive behavior management strategies.
• Maintain open and positive communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and activities.
• Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss developmental milestones, learning goals, and areas for growth.
• Involve parents in the learning process by offering suggestions for activities at home and encouraging participation in school events.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay informed about best practices in early childhood education.
• Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and support staff to create a cohesive pre-primary program.
• Share resources, ideas, and strategies with colleagues to enhance the quality of education and create a supportive team environment.
