We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preprimary Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of early childhood development and a nurturing approach towards young children. As a Preprimary Teacher, you will play a crucial role in laying the foundation for lifelong learning and academic success.
Responsibilities:
• Curriculum Development: Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development of children.
• Classroom Management: Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning. Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Assessment: Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor children's progress and identify areas needing improvement. Provide feedback to parents and caregivers on a regular basis.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other teachers and staff members to coordinate activities and ensure a cohesive educational experience for students.
• Parent Communication: Maintain open and proactive communication with parents and caregivers regarding their child's development, progress, and any concerns that may arise.
• Professional Development: Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education through workshops, seminars, and professional literature. Implement new techniques and strategies in the classroom as appropriate.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Relevant teaching experience in a preprimary or early childhood setting.
• Strong knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
• Patience, flexibility, and a nurturing demeanor when working with young children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.
• Certification or licensure in early childhood education (if applicable based on location).
