Position: Pre-Primary Teacher

Job Summary:
Prabhushree English Medium School seeks a warm, patient, and creative Pre-Primary Teacher to nurture and educate young children in a positive, engaging environment. The ideal candidate will foster foundational learning and social skills, support each child's unique developmental needs, and make learning an enjoyable experience for early learners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate play-based and hands-on learning to introduce basic concepts in literacy, numeracy, arts, and physical education.
• Create a welcoming, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, curiosity, and active participation.
• Foster language development, motor skills, and social-emotional growth through structured activities, interactive games, songs, storytelling, and creative arts.
• Guide children in developing social skills, such as sharing, cooperation, and basic problem-solving, while instilling good behavior and respect for others.
• Observe and assess each child's progress, and communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development, milestones, and areas for growth.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and vibrant classroom that reflects a child-friendly and nurturing atmosphere.
• Encourage self-expression and creativity in a supportive, fun learning environment.
Qualifications:
• Educational Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Montessori, or a related field; a B.Ed. is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in teaching or working with young children in a pre-primary or similar early childhood setting.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Skills:
• Patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic about working with young children.
• Creative and resourceful in planning engaging and age-appropriate learning activities.
• Good classroom management skills to guide children in a positive manner.
• Knowledgeable in play-based learning techniques and early childhood pedagogy.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, regular school hours with occasional events or parent meetings.
Remuneration: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
