Pre Primary Teacher
Job Description
A pre-primary school teacher's job description includes:
• Creating a safe and inclusive environment Teachers promote a positive and fun learning environment, and ensure the classroom is clean and safe.
• Teaching curriculum Teachers create programs that fit the class's needs, and educate children through play, storytelling, and other methods.
• Assessing and supporting children Teachers assess and track children's progress to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones. They also use assessment tools to determine areas where children need additional support.
• Communicating with parents Teachers communicate with parents to better understand the children's home lives and psyches. They also write up reports for parents on each child's developmental progress.
• Collaborating with other educators Teachers collaborate with other educators.
