Job Title: Pre-Primary Teacher

Location: EuroSchool - HSR, Bangalore

Position Summary:
The Pre-Primary Teacher at EuroSchool - HSR will be responsible for providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children in the pre-primary grades. The teacher will create developmentally appropriate lesson plans, implement engaging activities, and foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth through play-based learning experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, strong communication skills, and a commitment to early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate and engaging curriculum that promotes the holistic development of young children, including activities focused on language development, pre-mathematics skills, socialization, and creative expression.
• Instructional Delivery: Plan and deliver interactive and hands-on lessons and activities that stimulate children's curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking skills, incorporating a variety of learning modalities and resources.
• Play-Based Learning: Facilitate play-based learning experiences that encourage exploration, experimentation, and problem-solving, fostering the development of essential skills and concepts in a fun and supportive environment.
• Social and Emotional Development: Support children's social and emotional development by promoting positive peer interactions, teaching conflict resolution skills, and fostering a sense of belonging and community within the classroom.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Use a variety of informal assessment methods, such as observations, checklists, and anecdotal records, to monitor children's progress and inform instructional planning and intervention strategies.
• Parent Communication: Establish and maintain open and regular communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on children's progress, sharing insights into their development, and soliciting input and feedback from families.
• Classroom Management: Create a safe, organized, and stimulating learning environment that encourages independence, exploration, and self-expression, with clear routines, expectations, and boundaries.
• Professional Development: Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education, pedagogy, and child development theory.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• NTT is madatory
• Minimum of 1 years of experience working with young children, preferably in a pre-primary or early childhood education setting.
• Strong understanding of child development principles, early learning standards, and best practices in early childhood education.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and establish positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ?24,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
