Play-Based Learning: Facilitate play-based learning experiences that encourage exploration, discovery, creativity, and problem-solving. Provide opportunities for hands-on, sensory-rich activities that support children\'s natural curiosity and interests.
Individualized Instruction: Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and abilities of individual children, including those with varying learning styles, interests, and developmental levels. Provide additional support or enrichment as needed.
Assessment and Documentation: Assess children\'s progress and development through ongoing observation, documentation, and assessment tools. Maintain accurate records of children\'s growth, achievements, and milestones.
Parent Communication: Establish and maintain open, positive communication with parents/guardians, including regular updates on children\'s progress, conferences, and opportunities for parent involvement in their child\'s learning.
Classroom Management: Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment where children feel valued, respected, and supported. Establish routines and expectations that promote positive behavior and social interaction.
Health and Safety: Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in the classroom. Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines, including maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills, stay current with best practices in early childhood education, and fulfill continuing education requirements.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning community. Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and school-wide initiatives.
Parent Education: Provide parents/guardians with resources, guidance, and support related to child development, parenting strategies, and early literacy and numeracy skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Master\'s degree preferred)
Early Childhood Education certification or licensure (if applicable)
Previous experience working with young children in a preschool or early childhood education setting
Knowledge of child development principles, early childhood education theories, and best practices
Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children
Ability to create a warm, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
Fluency in English (additional language proficiency may be advantageous)
