Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards and promotes the holistic development of children.
Lesson Planning: Plan and organize daily and weekly lesson plans, incorporating a variety of activities such as storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and play-based learning to foster cognitive and motor skills.
Classroom Management: Maintain a well-organized and inviting classroom environment, ensuring the availability of age-appropriate learning materials, resources, and equipment.
Instruction and Assessment: Provide engaging and interactive instruction, delivering lessons through different modalities to accommodate diverse learning styles. Assess children's progress and track their individual development through observations, assessments, and periodic evaluations.
Individualized Support: Identify and address the unique needs of each child, providing personalized guidance and support to promote their learning and social-emotional development.
Parent Communication: Establish positive and effective communication with parents or guardians, providing regular updates on their child's progress, sharing strategies for at-home learning, and addressing any concerns or questions.
Classroom Collaboration: Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to coordinate activities, share resources, and ensure a cohesive and enriching educational experience for all children.
Safety and Well-being: Ensure the physical and emotional safety of children by following health and safety guidelines, implementing appropriate discipline strategies, and addressing any incidents or conflicts that may arise.
Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development activities, attending workshops, conferences, or training sessions to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and to enhance teaching skills.
