Job Description
A preschool teacher is an educator responsible for nurturing and educating young children, typically between the ages of 3 to 5, in their foundational years before entering primary school. Their role involves fostering a love of learning while promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Key Responsibilities of a Preschool Teacher:
• Creating Lesson Plans: Develop activities and lessons that align with early childhood education standards and encourage exploration and creativity.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, welcoming, and organized learning environment.
• Teaching Basic Skills: Help children learn foundational skills like numbers, letters, colors, shapes, and simple problem-solving.
• Fostering Social Development: Teach teamwork, sharing, and communication through group activities and play.
• Monitoring Development: Assess and document children's developmental progress and share insights with parents or guardians.
