Admissions Counselling:
Counselling new enquiries on preschool curriculum, converting enquiries into admission. Ensuring good roll over percentage of existing admission.
Educational Program:
a. Work closely with the teachers & support staff to oversee all aspects of classroom program planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the preschool Curriculum, center's philosophy, developmentally appropriate practices, standards for Accreditation.
b. Provide expert advice in overseeing the daily operations. Regularly attend trainings/conferences and read journals to keep abreast on current developments in area of expertise.
Family Partnerships:
Respond promptly and appropriately to parent concerns, involving teachers, administrators, families or external support personnel as needed.
Staffing:
Work in coordination with the Business Head to hire, orientation for new staff members, train, mentor and supervise all preschool classroom early learning program staff.
Organization-Centered Responsibilities:
a. Center-wide Events: Promote and attend family social, recreational or educational activities as per preschool Curriculum.
b. Parent Participation: Enhance early learning by actively encouraging parent participation in all aspects of center life.
Individual Responsibilities:
• Co-ordinate with head office for efficient operations
• Arrive on time for work, with a positive attitude
• Be reliable in attendance and give ample notice for absences
• Has a positive approach with a learning attitude
• Effective communication preferred
• Be flexible in scheduling to meet the needs of the overall operations

• Create a welcoming, positive environment center-wide by: Being actively engaged with children Speaking to children at eye level, being friendly, warm and affectionate, using appropriate voice and tone encouraging children's independence and self-help skills
Additional Skills:
• Ability to train, evaluate & retain staff
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
• Ability to interact with families in a nurturing, compassionate, and sincere manner
• Expertise in Social Media & basic computer skills and familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and digital imaging programs (i.e., MS Word, Excel, downloading photos).
