Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our team as the Play Group School Center Head . The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. The Center Head will oversee the daily operations of the play group school, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the play group school, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula and educational programs.
• Supervise and support teaching staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
• Foster strong relationships with parents, addressing their concerns and providing regular updates on their children's progress.
• Manage administrative tasks, including enrollment, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with all local regulations and standards for early childhood education.
• Promote the school within the community and participate in outreach activities.
Parental Engagement:
Foster open communication with parents, offering guidance and resources to support their understanding of and involvement in their child's emotional development.
Organize workshops or sessions to educate parents on effective parenting strategies and techniques.
Collaboration:
Work closely with playgroup teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive environment for both students and parents.
Provide feedback to teachers and parents on effective strategies for addressing behavioral and emotional concerns.
Behavioral Observation:
Observe and assess children's behavior, identifying any potential emotional or developmental concerns and collaborating with teachers and parents to address them.
Crisis Intervention:
Be prepared to handle and appropriately address any emotional or behavioral crises that may arise within the playgroup setting, offering support to both students and parents.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions, behavioral assessments, and any interventions implemented.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within an early childhood education setting.
• Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate educational practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive school culture.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
