Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Pre-Primary School Coordinator to oversee the operations and curriculum of our early childhood education programs. The coordinator will play a key role in developing a nurturing, educational environment for young learners, ensuring the effective implementation of the curriculum, and managing day-to-day activities within the pre-primary section. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and strong leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Curriculum Development & Implementation:
• Develop and adapt age-appropriate curriculum aligned with educational standards and frameworks.
• Ensure that the curriculum is delivered effectively and is constantly reviewed to meet the needs of young learners.
• Implement innovative teaching strategies that encourage creativity, social skills, and emotional development.
• Teacher Support & Development:
• Provide leadership and mentoring to a team of pre-primary educators, ensuring effective teaching practices and classroom management.
• Organize and conduct regular training sessions and workshops for teachers on new trends and methods in early childhood education.
• Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new teaching staff.
• Administrative Duties:
• Oversee the daily functioning of the pre-primary section, ensuring that activities run smoothly.
• Maintain student records, report on student progress, and manage communication between teachers, parents, and the school administration.
• Monitor the implementation of health and safety regulations within the pre-primary classrooms.
• Parent & Community Relations:
• Establish strong relationships with parents, addressing concerns and providing regular updates on their child's progress.
• Conduct parent-teacher meetings and other events to foster community engagement.
• Organize educational workshops for parents to support their children's learning at home.
• Classroom Environment:
• Ensure classrooms are well-organized, safe, and conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with teachers to create stimulating learning environments that promote student exploration and development.
• Assessment & Reporting:
• Monitor and assess the academic, social, and emotional development of students.
• Provide regular feedback on student progress through reports and meetings with parents and school leadership.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance:
• Ensure compliance with local and international standards for early childhood education.
• Stay updated on best practices, regulations, and guidelines related to early childhood education.
Requirements:
• Educational Qualification:
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education, preferably in Early Childhood Education (ECE).
• Additional certifications or training in Pre-Primary Education or related fields are a plus.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 3 years in a leadership or coordinator role.
• Proven experience in curriculum design, teacher mentoring, and managing a pre-primary school or early childhood program.
• Skills and Abilities:
• Strong communication skills in both written and verbal formats.
• In-depth knowledge of child development principles and effective teaching strategies for young learners.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with parents, staff, and students.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage a variety of responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and experience in creating presentations and training materials.
• Knowledge of modern educational technology and tools for early childhood education.
• Certifications & Training:
• Training or certification in Pre-Primary Education, Early Childhood Education (ECE), or a related field is essential.
• Knowledge of relevant certifications in child safety, health, and first aid is beneficial.
