Key Responsibilities:
• Program Development and Implementation:
• Develop and oversee the pre-primary curriculum, ensuring it meets educational standards and the developmental needs of young children.
• Implement age-appropriate learning activities and experiences that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.
• Teacher Support and Supervision:
• Provide guidance and support to pre-primary teachers in lesson planning, classroom management, and instructional strategies.
• Conduct regular classroom observations to ensure teaching quality and provide constructive feedback.
• Coordinate professional development opportunities for teachers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Student Assessment and Evaluation:
• Develop and oversee assessment tools to monitor student progress and development.
• Analyze assessment data to identify areas of improvement and implement necessary interventions.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of student progress to parents and school administration.
• Parental Involvement and Communication:
• Foster strong relationships with parents through regular communication, meetings, and workshops.
• Address parent concerns and provide support to ensure a positive educational experience for their children.
• Organize and facilitate parent-teacher conferences and other school events.
• Administrative Duties:
• Manage the pre-primary section's daily operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and maintaining student records.
• Ensure compliance with school policies, educational standards, and safety regulations.
• Prepare reports and documentation as required by school administration.
• Environment and Resources:
• Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for young children.
• Ensure classrooms are well-equipped with age-appropriate materials and resources.
• Collaborate with other school staff to maintain and improve the physical and educational environment.
• Professional Development:
• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in early childhood education.
• Attend workshops, conferences, and other professional development opportunities.
• Share new knowledge and practices with the pre-primary teaching team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Teaching certification or licensure in early childhood education.
• Previous experience in early childhood education, including teaching and administrative roles.
• Strong understanding of child development and early learning principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership and organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with educational technology and digital learning tools.
