Mechanical / Diploma MechanicalSalary: 5-10 LPALocation: Vatva, AhmedabadReporting to: GM and Managing DirectorOffice time: 9 AM to 6 PM (6 days)Job role:

  • Overall responsibilities of planning activities.
  • Responsible rate contract of outside vendors & inside contractors.
  • Responsible for procurement of Class A items like Body, turret, cabinet top.
  • Responsible for delivery date of machines.
  • Responsible for vendor development.
  • Interacting & monitoring all activities of each PPC personnel and Follow up for smooth functioning and achieving of production targets.
  • Update higher authorities about planning activities.
  • Responsible for drawing change and new drawing implementation and maintain record.
  • Inventory control of all type of material at in house and third party.
  • Fixing /confirming delivery date of machine / Spares / Die Punch.
  • New Vendor development in consultation with QC & WM.
  • Report & interact with the Works Manager for status of various pending orders of machine, spares & Die Punch & for timely delivery.
  • Fixing rate contract / Rate for various outsource processes.

  • Keeping watch on market rates of various outsource processes.
  • Reporting to Authorities on regular functioning of Department as well as any Deviation / irregularities.
  • Initiate activities of Engineering changes with reference to shop floor practice as well as practical difficulties on floor with reference to drawing.
  • Implementing drawing changes on shop floor & monitoring & keeping records for the same.
  • Monitoring of material floated in house as well with outside vendor to comply with Company guideline of 45 days.
  • Keeping track of inventory in consultation with System Manager.
  • Create control system for drawing issue to outside vendor & ensure its return.
  • Procurement of critical / Costly parts like castings of Turret, Body, Cabinet Top etc.
  • Any additional duties/responsibilities assigned by management.
  • Verification to maintain the register inward / Outward for drawing.
  • To ensure to give report of production like Machine parts, spares items day to day to Works Manager.
