Description Location: Pune Educational qualification: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech Experience Requirements Minimum 2-5 year of experience in the area of Diesel/Gasoline Engine Development with Automotive OEM. Experience with MNC preferred. Prior experience with German OEM/organization is a strong plus. Basic knowledge of Internal Combustion Engine components and sub-systems Extensive experience in Component Validation on engine/ Component engineering/ Product development Should have knowledge of new product development process lifecycle Exposure to supplier interaction, supplier engagement and negotiations is preferred Good know-how of test requirements and testing process Experience of problem solving and root cause analysis Exposure to engine tear down and assessment of component wear is preferred Good presentation and documentation skills Should be a quick learner and a team player. Ability to work under challenging situations Knowledge of German language is an added advantage International Experience is a strong plus Be responsible for end to end delivery of component validation under own responsibility Be responsible for technical decisions Understand, analyze problems with a methodical approach and propose a solution in the least possible time frame Plan and specify component and or engine level tests required for validation of components and subsystems Representation in all technical meetings with Germany Co-ordination with cross functional teams for achieving final delivery Generate innovative ideas for adding value to existing projects Analyze failures, investigate root cause and suggest corrective action Establish communication with Daimler AG, Germany and coordination between MBRDI & Daimler AG Qualifications BE / ME/ M.Tech / M.S
