What part will you play Design, implement, and perform complex technical software assignments related to Energy Management System (EMS) and Transmission Network Analysis (TNA) Suite of software applications. Analyze, design, program, troubleshoot, recommend solutions, perform enhancements, provide technical support, and implement modifications associated with the EMM System applications. The position requires effective use and modification to the solution techniques in Power System Operations and Planning. Perform problem resolution including performing root cause analysis and interacting with customer and application engineers. Provide support and knowledge transfer to customer engineering staff to apply changes to the real time and study EMS applications. Use your skills to move the world forward! Qualification: Master\'s degree in Electrical (Power) Engineering or a related field and 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar position Experience: The following experience is highly desirable Software application development experience in high level language preferably C/C++, SQL, PL/SQL, Perl and Python Knowledge of git and CI/CD is a plus Experience in working on Linux environments is a plus 4 + years of Experience in either or a combination of the following functional areas: Experience in modeling and software in solving Power Flow problems Experience in Economic Dispatch, State Estimation, Contingency Analysis and Optimal Power Flow Must Have Conceptualization ability Self-direction Communicative & socially confident Influencing ability Desirable / Good to Have: Decisive & Action-Oriented Flexible Curious to learn and integrate new technologies Make your mark in our exciting world at Siemens.
