The resource will be involved in development of custom applications using the Microsoft Power platform. This will be a technical role requiring hands on experience in coding & building apps using Power Platform components like Powerapps, PowerAutomate, Dataverse, Sharepoint, MS Copilot Studio, Azure & O365 tools.Reports directly to:Power Platform Domain LeadNetwork & Links Position title of connected positions / functional reportInternal

Purpose of the Role: The role is an Individual contributor role, working on building custom apps for internal Alstom customers. The primary responsibility will be on software development, building custom apps, developing a top quality software product following the Alstom coding standards & industry best practices.The PowerPlatform developer will be experienced in Power Apps, Powerautomate, security capabilities, including Role based authorization, SharePoint, Dataverse, Entities, UI design skills, Azure integration services like Logic apps and Azure Functions.Main Responsibilities

• Developing PowerApps Canvas apps, Understanding of PowerApps formulas and development methods
• Implement custom solutions that leverage various Office 365 services, standard/premium connectors and multiple data sources.
• Re-write and re-engineer custom legacy applications (InfoPath, Lotus Notes, etc.) to PowerApps solutions
• Integrate Power BI Reports and dashboards into PowerApps.
• Analyze the business requirements by collaborating with stakeholders, identify data flows and work processes, design solutions and estimate workload.
• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, etc.
• Satisfy business requirements, meet agreed completion dates, and perform unit & integration testing
• Be a Team Player and communicate proposed designs and progress to team members.
• Support Citizen Developer and Power App community as an operations SME

Educational Requirements:- BE or B Tech Graduation degree- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering /Technology or related fieldExperience

• Total experience of 3+ years with relevant experience of 1 to 2 years on Powers apps & O365 solutions
• Min 1 to 2 years of development experience in PowerApps, Power Automate, PowerBI, Dataverse, Sharepoint, Azure & O365 tools.

Must Have Capabilities:

• Should have built at least 3 to 5 medium to complex solutions using PowerPlatform
• Experience building Office 365 solutions including Power Automate (Flow), Power Apps (model driven & canvas apps), PowerVirtual Agents, Copilot Studio, Dataverse, Powerapps Component Framework, MS Azure, SharePoint Online, Graph APIs and MS Teams.
• Experience with PowerApps integration with Azure API Apps, Azure Logic apps, Azure Functions, Data gateways, HTTP and REST API services
• Re-write and re-engineer custom legacy applications (InfoPath, Lotus Notes, etc.) to PowerApps solutions
• Integrate Power BI Reports and dashboards into PowerApps.

Good to have Capabilities:

• Experience with PowerPlatform governance tools like PowerPlatform Admin center, COE Starter Kit, BYODL, Powershell scripting, admin connectors, etc.
• Handling E2E project delivery as a project lead
• Experience with SDLC tools like JIRA, Jenkins, SNOW, etc

Competencies & Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in building custom apps on the Microsoft Power apps platform
• Highly desirable experience building Office 365 solutions including Power Automate (Flow), Power Apps (model driven & canvas apps), Power BI, Power Virtual Agents, Copilot Studio, Azure, SharePoint Online, Graph APIs and MS Teams.
• Experience with PowerApps integration with Azure API Apps, Azure Logic apps, Azure Functions, HTTP and REST API services
• Understanding of Power Apps security capabilities, including Role based authorization
• Experience with Dataverse, SQL DB, SharePoint, data gateways, and custom connectors.
• General experience with requirement gathering, application design & development, coding & testing, and application lifecycle management skills
• Exploratory mindset, can-do attitude, and willingness to learn new technologies and keep updated with new advancements in technology.
• Must be motivated, independent and self-sufficient. Able to receive an assigned task and see it through to completion with minimal supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer interaction skills.
