Azure Data Engineer , SQL, Python, Azure DevOps, Agile, Pyspark

Experience in Insurance industry is preferred ,do explain the same in resume . ( other will also work but with willingness to learn the insurance industry)

Job description

• Lead and execute the successful strategy for delivery of analyses and analytic solutions to meet BOLT customers needs.
• Interact directly with high-level stakeholders, end-users, and colleagues.
• Lead the design and development of user-friendly PowerBI dashboards using complex insurance datasets from different data sources.
• Create PowerBI dashboards to meet strategic and tactical business needs.
• Complete understanding of azure data architecture.
• Develop and deliver reporting components that satisfy business needs within defined SLAs.
• Lead the development of reusable templates, make recommendations for connected dashboards and self-service reporting for internal and external customers.
• Contribute and create a motivated work environment within the team.
• Mentor internal development team and promote opportunities.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with PowerBI.
• Proficient in designing & developing visualizations in BI tools like Tableau. Knowledge of other tools like BO, Qlik View, Tableau is good to have.
• Should have the ability to write complex SQL & Stored procedures.
• Should be able to build & publish interactive reports, dashboards on PowerBI.
• Should be able to blend, manipulate & transform data to create powerful dashboards.
• Should have excellence in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
• Should be able to optimize data models and queries for performance and efficiency, ensuring fast and accurate data retrieval.
• Should be able to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability through data profiling, cleansing, and transformation.
• Should be updated with the latest Power BI features, techniques, and best practices to continuously enhance the BI environment.
• Should have experience in working in multi-user environment and be able to publish report across different environment, maintain versioning.
• Should have ability to interact with stakeholders, interpret business requirements and design documents.
• Should have acumen for creating innovation KPIs, interactive dashboards, comprehensive reports.
• Should have ability to understand the business domain and build report specifications.
• Should be well versed with detailed documentation and effective communication.
• Should have worked with data warehouses or data lake solutions.
• Knowledge in big data systems and programming (any language) is a plus.
