The Power BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying interactive data visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Power BI. This role requires an individual with strong analytical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders, and a deep understanding of Power BI functionality and best practices.Key Responsibilities:

• Report Development: Design, develop, and implement interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decision-making.
• Data Modeling: Build efficient data models, including data integration from multiple sources (SQL, Excel, cloud services, etc.), ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Data Transformation: Use Power Query (M Language) and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to manipulate and transform data, optimizing queries for performance and scalability.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements, gather feedback, and iterate on dashboard and report designs.
• Optimization: Optimize Power BI solutions for performance, scalability, and usability across various devices and platforms.
• Automation: Develop and implement automated reporting solutions to streamline processes and reduce manual efforts.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide troubleshooting, maintenance, and support for existing Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Training & Documentation: Create and deliver training sessions for end-users and stakeholders on how to interact with and utilize Power BI reports effectively.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure reports and dashboards comply with data security, privacy standards, and company policies.

Skills Required:

• Power BI: Expert in creating custom visualizations, report building, publishing, and sharing reports using Power BI Service.
• DAX (Data Analysis Expressions): Strong command over DAX for creating complex formulas, aggregations, and calculated columns/measures.
• Power Query (M Language): Proficient in using Power Query Editor for data cleansing, transformation, and shaping.
• SQL: Solid understanding of SQL for extracting and managing data from relational databases.
• Data Visualization: Strong understanding of best practices in data visualization design, storytelling, and user experience.
• Cloud Technologies (Optional): Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.) and data integration with cloud-based data sources.
• Knowledge of other BI tools (Tableau, QlikView, etc.) is a plus
• Familiarity with data warehousing, data lakes, and big data technologies
• Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages for advanced analytics
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps
• Strong proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M Language).
• Experience with Power BI Service, Power BI Report Server, and Power BI Desktop.
• Familiarity with SQL for data extraction and querying, along with experience integrating various data sources.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL process.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
• Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• 5+ Years of relevant experience.
