The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience in PostgreSQL development and a strong understanding of database design and optimization. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize PostgreSQL databases for high performance and scalability.
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support application development.
• Collaborate with software developers to integrate databases with applications and ensure seamless data flow.
• Perform database tuning, indexing, and query optimization to enhance performance.
• Ensure data integrity and security through robust database management practices.
• Conduct regular database maintenance tasks, including backups, restores, and migrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation related to database design, development, and maintenance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest PostgreSQL features and advancements, and incorporate them into our database infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a PostgreSQL Developer.
• Proficient in SQL and PL/pgSQL programming.
• Strong understanding of database design principles and normalization.
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with database security practices and tools.
• Knowledge of database backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other relational databases such as MySQL or Oracle.

• Familiarity with cloud database services such as AWS RDS or Azure Database for PostgreSQL.
