•JOB •SUMMARY

• Support several Open-Source technologies, including PostgreSQL, MySQL.
• Install, configure, upgrade and patch for Postgresql and other open-source databases.
• Plan, develop and implement processes and procedures for database backup and recovery.
• Take care of the Database design and implementation, including Patch Management and Version Control.
• Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).
• Perform database/application tuning and performance monitoring.
• Setup and maintain documentation and standards.
• Work as part of a team and provide 24x7 support when required.
• Perform general technical troubleshooting and give consultation to development teams.
• Analyze potential impact of problem resolution and take corrective measures when needed.
• Root Cause Analysis.
• Experience working on any public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, OCI or GCP) is preferred.

• Worked on Oracle as well and open to learn mysql, mongo etc.
• Experience on Postgres and Oracle Replication.
• Aware of Postgres Parameters.
• Worked on Upgradation.
• Design, automation, documentation, installs, shell scripting, PL/ SQL programming, catalog navigation, query tuning, system tuning, resource contention analysis, backup and recovery, standby, replication, etc.
• Having cloud AWS experience.
