Position: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)

Location: Rising Star School, Hinjawadi

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) to join our academic team at Rising Star School The ideal candidate will specialize in Science, Math, SST, English subjects and will be responsible for teaching students, preparing them for higher education and professional success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver advanced lessons in Science, Math, SST, English in accordance with the curriculum.

- Develop comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments.

- Use diverse teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.

- Guide and mentor students in their academic and personal development.

- Assess students' performance through assignments, tests, and examinations.

- Prepare students for board exams and competitive entrance exams.

- Maintain up-to-date records of students' progress and achievements.

- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding students' performance and needs.

- Participate in professional development programs to stay current with educational trends and methodologies.

- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Science, Math, SST, English or a related field.

- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) degree preferred.

- Valid teaching certification or licensure.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Science, Math, SST, English at the senior secondary level.

- In-depth knowledge of the curriculum and exam requirements.

- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve academic excellence.

- Commitment to continuous professional development.

Working Conditions:

- Full-time position with standard school hours.

- Participation in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and extracurricular activities as required outside regular hours.
