The Application Developer Analyst III participates in coding work units for simple changes, enhancements, and modules. The Analyst III documents design and code, prepares for and participates in testing reviews, prepares code reviews, and resolves simple defects. They are responsible for all phases of the application development cycle: beginning with requirements gathering, through release, and ultimately ongoing user support. The Analyst III is responsible for building simple stand-alone applications or working on modules in existing applications with regular supervision/support. The individual can work independently and prioritize their own responsibilities and workload.Key Responsibilities

• Analyze code to explain and identify possible issues with created code

• Accurately document design and code fixes for all created code to memorialize fixes and dependencies according to established standards

• Analyze design materials and contribute solutions in design reviews to ensure designs meet requirements

• Analyze detailed business, functional, and high-level technical requirements\xe2\x80\x94including technical recovery, security, and audit\xe2\x80\x94to identify the need for, and assist with, the roll-back of units of work

• Communicate deviations from estimates. Proactively work with more senior developers and project managers to ensure appropriate time is allocated to assigned tasks.

• Provide detailed estimates for assigned work to include scope documents and project log entries.

• Create and execute unit code tests

• Prepare accurate data for test plan and modules; participate in testing reviews

• Gain familiarity and provide technical support to track and resolve simple to intermediate defects

• Generate code work for simple to intermediate changes, enhancements, and modules according to specifications, documentation and development standards. Ensure project artifacts are ready for promotion to production.

Education

• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience

• 0-2 years experience (Preferred)
