Job Summary:

The Port Supervisor oversees the daily operations at the port, ensuring efficient and safe handling of cargo. This role includes managing staff, coordinating logistics, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

• Supervise the loading, unloading, and handling of cargo.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, customs, and other relevant authorities.
• Ensure the timely and efficient turnaround of vessels.

Staff Supervision:

• Manage and schedule port staff and dockworkers.
• Provide training and support to staff on safety and operational procedures.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
• Implement corrective actions for any safety or compliance issues.

Logistics Coordination:

• Monitor and manage inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to ensure smooth cargo movement.
• Optimize port operations to minimize delays and improve efficiency.

Communication:

• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare and present reports on port operations and performance.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues.

Financial Management:

• Assist in budgeting and financial planning for port operations.
• Monitor operational expenses and implement cost-saving measures.
• Ensure accurate billing and documentation for all port services.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 12th Pass required.
• On the Job Training will be provided.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?11,000.00 - ?12,000.00 per month
