Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Port Operations professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of experience in the job market context of India, with a proven track record of managing port operations effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all port operations are carried out efficiently, safely and in compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily port operations activities
• Develop and implement operational plans for the port
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
• Manage and oversee the loading and unloading of cargo
• Manage the maintenance and repair of port facilities and equipment
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that all staff are trained and equipped to work safely
• Maintain accurate records and reports on all port operations
• Coordinate with other departments and agencies as needed to ensure smooth operations
• Monitor and control operational costs to ensure profitability
• Provide leadership and direction to all port operations staff

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field
• 2-6 years of experience in port operations in the job market context of India
• Strong knowledge of port regulations and policies
• Experience managing and supervising staff
• Ability to develop and implement operational plans
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Experience with budget management and cost control
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?41,000.00 per month
