JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: PGT (Political Science) Reports to: Deputy Director & Principal Job Profile: A committed teacher, adaptive to learning environment and supportive to responsibilities in a day-cum residential school. Brief of Duties and responsibilities \xef\x82\xb7 Planning, preparing teaching material, and delivering lessons \xef\x82\xb7 Helping pupils improve their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills via individual and group sessions \xef\x82\xb7 Checking and assessing the work of students \xef\x82\xb7 Taking remedial and extra classes (in case of day teacher), prep and tutorial duties (in case of residential teacher) \xef\x82\xb7 Keep abreast and developed in their field by reading current literature. \xef\x82\xb7 Preparing students for subject-based competitions and events \xef\x82\xb7 Organizing and actively participating in extracurricular activities of the school. \xef\x82\xb7 Accountable for all official duties and responsibilities assigned by authorities \xef\x82\xb7 Execute lessons efficiently using different styles of teaching depending on the content. \xef\x82\xb7 Engage students to ensure a lively classroom atmosphere. \xef\x82\xb7 Teach students to think critically when studying literature and poetry. \xef\x82\xb7 Develop students\xe2\x80\x99 verbal skills including reading out loud, discussion and debate. \xef\x82\xb7 Willing to conduct classes effectively through onsite and online modes. Work Experience: Min 3 years as PGT in a reputed school. Residential School experience will be an added advantage. Personal Traits Required Exceptional organizational and communication skills A patient and resilient personality Selection Process: Written Examination, Subject Demo & Personal/Walk-in Interview.
