Responsibilities:
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources, including media, reports and governmental documents.
• Monitor political developments, elections and public sentiment to identify trends and forecast political outcomes.
• Evaluate the potential impact of proposed policies, bills and political initiatives.
• Prepare detailed reports and briefing papers on key political issues for internal use or external stakeholders.
• Conduct surveys, polls and interviews to gauge public opinion on political matters.
• Compile comprehensive research findings into clear, concise reports and presentations.
• Monitor news outlets, social media and press releases to stay updated on relevant political events.
• Monitor and report on legislative sessions, political debates, and committee hearings to provide updates on ongoing political processes.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Strong understanding of political systems, policy analysis and legislative processes.
• Proven experience of 2-3 years in political research, analysis or related roles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Proficiency in using research tools, databases and statistical software for data analysis.
